A requirement of the Environmental Approval, dated September 5, 2002, by the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour (NSDEL), was to form a Community Liaison Committee (CLC).
The CLC is an advisory body to Black Bull Resources Inc. (BBS) for the White Rock Mine. The CLC provides input on matters regarding operations or approvals/permits that have or are perceived to have environmental impacts. Community representatives also provide an avenue for the exchange of information on the project to interested individuals.
