Black Bull Resources Inc. Held Annual Meeting of Shareholders and the Board elects Richard J. Shearer as Chairman of the Board

| | Shelburne, NS---April 21, 2009---Black Bull Resources Inc. (TSXV:BBS) held its Annual Meeting on April 16, 2009, where the Company's shareholders approved the 2008 financial statements, elected directors, and re-appointed Deloitte Touché as auditors for the upcoming year.
The directors that were re-elected are George T.H. Cooper, James W. Gogan, Joseph MacDonald, J. Wayne Mailloux, Richard J. Shearer, David L. Wood, and Donald A. Wright to hold office until the next annual election of directors.
In a meeting of the Board of Directors held immediately following the Annual General Meeting, the Board elected Richard J. Shearer as Chairman of the Board, who will also remain as CEO and President. Mr. Shearer takes over this role which had been held by Wayne Mailloux who will remain as a Director of the Board.

The Board of Black Bull has granted 340,000 stock options to its Directors at an exercise price of $0.10. All options were granted in accordance with Black Bull's stock option plan.
