Richard Shearer, President & CEO since March 1, 2007, and Director since January 19, 2006. Mr. Shearer retired in 2003 as the President and Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Silica Company, Berkley Springs, West Virginia; a position he held since 1998. From 1996 to 1998, he held the position of Vice President/General Manager of Worldwide Boron Operations of North America Chemical Company. From 1992 to 1996, he was President of EA Remediation Technologies of EA Engineering, Science and Technologies, Inc. From 1985 to 1991, he was Vice President of Union Carbide Corp., Unison Transformer Services, Inc.

Martin MacKinnon, Chief Financial Officer since November 12, 2007. Mr. MacKinnon holds an MBA in Accounting and Economics from Saint Mary's University. His more than 30-years of business leadership has included a number of established and start-up businesses. His most recent employment was with Eastern Rehabilitation Inc. as Vice President of Administration and Finance, where he was also a Board Member. He has been active in local politics as well as numerous Board roles with various charities in Nova Scotia.
